Silverman Trykowski Associates, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Felice L. Silverman, IIDA and Thomas G. J. Trykowski, AIA, BSA. STA offers a full range of architectural and interior design services, with specialties in building design, daycare, corporate interiors, retail and restaurant design.
STA's philosophy centers around the importance of the integration of architecture and interior design throughout the design process. While Tom's education is in architecture, Felice's is in interior design, each project is approached as a design project, carrying out strong conceptual ideas through all scales of development.
The design philosophy of the company carries through to our teaching approaches. For the past several years, we have been team teaching a design studio at the Boston Architectural College in Boston, MA. The focus of the studio is on the integration of architecture and interior design through the study of an adaptive reuse project.
