STA Attends Building Tour of Presentation School Foundation

STA attended the U.S. Green Building Council sponsored building tour of our LEED Gold Core and Shell building, which is nearing completion in Brighton, Mass! This is a gorgeous 28,000 Sq. Ft building was constructed in 1920 by the Archdiocese of Boston and purchased in 2006 by a non-profit community based group of students, parents, and local community leaders. The Presentation School Foundation plans to save the building from commercial development and convert the building into part of a “community campus” that will work with the neighboring YMCA and public library to offer educational, child care, and other services for area families.
